Our Philosophy
Education is the path that could
lead one to their dreams. Doctor,
lawyer, teacher, judge - whatever path one decides to take starts with
education. That is why it is important
to make education is a positive experience. We must be able to harness
the natural curiosities of children and instill in them the desire to achieve lifelong
learning.
Every
child is capable of learning. We must discover each student's unique
learning style and facilitate learning through differentiated instruction. Learning should be exciting and fun so that
each child remains engaged so that foundations are successfully built to graduate to the next level.
Education
is not all about book learning. Students
must also be successfully taught respect for one's self, as well as the world
around them. They should be encouraged
to be true to their own personality and to grow as an individual. Not all children will be on the same level,
but any growth is considered a success. Children must not be allowed to slip through the cracks. In a time of larger class sizes and a higher
volume of behavior problems, teachers work more diligently to allow children the personal attention they deserve. Adler Academy Private School is a consistent, loving environment, where children are safe to take
risks without fear of not being accepted.
"Can't" is not a word that is used freely at our school. Instead, we "try"
and we do our very best.
